A jack-of-all arts, Hayden began their career in theatre as an actor and singer but has since diversified into writing, producing, and design. In 2020 they launched their own theatre group, Boom Squish, through which they are creating works about the ongoing global climate and ecological crisis.

Utilising their experience in show development and passion for writing, Hayden ventured into constructing original works. Their show An Audience With Death was selected for the 2019 Sydney Cabaret Competition and in the same year they wrote Murder, She Sang for Little Triangle. Hayden has also designed for Little Triangle’s last two major productions, The Wild Party (2018) and Nine (2019), including production design and sound design for Nine.
